FAQ about Webtelligence

  • How is the inventory data handled?
    • Adagio inventory data is automatically synchronized with Webtelligence, including item numbers, descriptions, alternative items, units of measure, Kits/Sets, and any optional fields that may be required.
  • How is the Accounts Receivable customer data handled?
    • Adagio accounts receivable data is automatically synchronized with Webtelligence, including account customer specific settings and information. This includes location addresses, taxation settings, payment terms and ship to methods.
  • Some of my customers have discounts in Adagio. How does Webtelligence handle that?
    • Webtelligence mimics the price and tax logic of Adagio. By doing so, anonymous web customers can be presented with retail prices, while account customers can be provided log in credentials to see prices specific to them. This includes support for sale prices, quantity price breaks, discounts and contract pricing. Prices can also be hidden prior to log in, if required.
  • We are currently re-keying all of our orders from our current webstore. Is there a better way?
    • With Webtelligence orders received online are automatically read in to Adagio Order Entry and are managed in exactly the same manner as a keyed order. Re-keying is not required, and full Adagio order management is maintained.
  • Can my Web Store have nice looking graphics?
    • Webtelligence enables users to implement web stores with their look and feel, including graphics, colors and layout. A wide range of functions come standard with Webtelligence; however, custom function can be added to address unique customer requirements.
  • Can you tell me more about web product categories?
    • Webtelligence product categories can be completely distinct from Accpac categories. An unlimited number of product sub-categories can be used to simplify web store navigation and a single product can exist in every category, if required.
  • Can each item have its own image?
    • Webtelligence includes the capability to add additional product information, such as text, images, graphics, links to PDF documents and to external sites.
  • Does Webtelligence have advanced searching features?
    • Several advanced web store search capabilities are included with Webtelligence. These include the ability to search by SKU, item description, extended product information, and by manufacturer. Search results can be sorted by price, item number, and product name.
  • Do you have a related item feature?
    • Cross selling features are included, such as, related items, “people who bought this…” email to a friend, a loyalty points program and support for banner ads with tracking by impressions and click through.
  • How does shipping work with the online store?
    • Real time integration to UPS, FedEx and Canada Post is included, along with shipping tracking number notification. Support for multiple ship-to locations and shipping methods per order is supported.
  • What Payment Options are available to customers?
    • Both on account and credit card payments are supported. Credit card payments are fully integrated with Adagio Credit Card and Paytelligence, automating the entire process of accepting a web order with a credit card payment to creating a receipt entry in Accpac Accounts Receivable.
  • What kind of reporting tools are available?
    • Reporting is provided on web store use statistics, marketing statistics and banner ad statistics.
